There will be no Dreamer bill until we lock our border down, Senator Graham Says

A Path to Legal Status for Dreamers: A Matter of National Security As the country prepares for a new administration, the fate of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, also known as Dreamers, remains uncertain.

 President-elect Trump has expressed his willingness to work with Democrats to find a solution, but Senator Chuck Grassley believes that securing the border must come first. 

The Current Situation Under the Obama administration, the DACA program was established to provide temporary relief from deportation to young immigrants who were brought to the United States illegally as children. However, since then, the program has been subject to legal challenges and has been criticized for being a "backdoor" to amnesty. 

Senator Grassley's Position 

Senator Grassley, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has been involved in various immigration reform efforts, including the Gang of Eight Bill. He believes that any attempt to provide a path to legal stat.
