Ajax condemn antisemitic disorder as Israeli fans targeted in Amsterdam
The mayor of Amsterdam has described attacks on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans last night in the Dutch capital as anti-semitic hit and run squads.
Dozens of arrests have been made following the match between Ajax and maccabi in the Europa League UEFA have condemned the violence.
Dutch authorities say Israeli fans were systematically targeted with five people known to have left hospital since the violence erupted, stop and search Powers have been increased in the city while there is a protest ban in Amsterdam in place for the weekend, arrests were made before the game as footage shared on social media showed a Palestine flag being torn down along with anti-arab chanting.

The Israel government has responded by sending two commercial planes to transport fans home.
