Rivers Helicopter Crash: They’ve found another body while the search is still going on.
In Rivers State, one more body has been recovered following the helicopter crash in the Bon River last Thursday. This brings the total number of bodies recovered so far to four, while another four individuals are still missing. According to Bimbo Oladiji, spokesperson for the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau.
The floating body was retrieved from the water by the Federal Fire Service and is currently en route to a designated location under escort from the Cameroonian Navy for safe transit through their territorial waters. The Bureau has stated that it will continue its coordinated efforts in the recovery operation and investigation into the crash involving a Sikorsky S76 helicopter, registration 5N-BQG, operated by East Wind Aviation.
