Deliberate attempt to block the Dangote refineries operations has be revealed
the dangote refinery Nigeria's largest Refinery is allegedly facing a boycott from local marketers who refus to purchase its products despite lower prices devakumar VG Edwin the vice president of dangote Industries limited has revealed that only 3% of the refineries output is being sold locally noting that the remaining 97% of the refineries production including Diesel and jet fuel is being exported due to a boycott by local traders who refused to buy at the refineries lower prices.
Edwin suggested that there is a deliberate attempt to block the refineries operations and revealed that local marketers wrote to president bola tinibu complaining about the Refiner's pricing strategies the boycott has forced the refinery to explore International markets exporting a majority of his refined products including Diesel and jet fuel the refiner is expected to bring uh supplying premium motor spirit this month.
In discussion the Spokesman Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria Emmanuel Ukadike Chinedu said the coming of dangote was a very good one we all appreciated it, we applauded it we also wrote a congrat letter to him for building the refiner 6 50,000 Barrel per day refiner, one of the largest in West Africa and also in the world and it's in Nigeria is something that gives hope and opportunities to our marketers
