The Court of Appeal has confirmed that Philip Shaibu will remain as the Deputy Governor of Edo State.

The court of appeals sitting in Abuja today affirms the lower court judgment that reinstated Philip Shaidu as a Deputy Governor of Edo State the Appellate Court dismissed the appeal seeking to uphold Mr. Shaibu's impeachment he had been imp pitched on 8th of April 2024 following the adoption of the report of a seven-member committee set up by the state chief judge to investigate allegations of misconduct against him
