Representing Member, Obinna Aguocha Raises Concern Over Alleged Planned Protest To Discredit Him
The lawmaker representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal constituency in Abia State Obinna Aguocha has raised concern over alleged planned protest against him by those he claimed lost out in the 2023 general election in state.
The lawmaker in a statement issued by the media team of labor party alleged that a group known as the Niger Delta use peace Builders being used to question his contributions as a lawmaker and a representative of his constituency.
Mr Aguocha said he's at a loss as to what concerns the group with Affairs of his constituency, saying that he recognizes the right to a peaceful assembly of citizens as enshrined in the 1999 Constitution as amended but encouraged them to carry out their activities peacefully and in compliance with the extent laws.
The Abia State lawmaker said is working hard to secure viable infrastructural projects and human capital development opportunities in the 2024 budget for benefit of his constituents
While appealing to them not to be influenced by those who seek to spread false hoods against the ongoing efforts to improve the lives of Abia residents
