Guest: Wait, what? Who's an ex-convict? Who's an "ex-man"? Did you bring me here to embarrass me? First of all, I’m not an ex-convict because I wasn’t convicted for spraying money. So let's get that straight. As for being an "ex-man," well, I was a man way back—can't even remember when—but now I’m proudly who I am. And no, I'm not an "ex-money sprayer." I still spray money, just in dollars now, not naira.

Host: So you're still going to spray money, but now in dollars?

Guest: Yes, exactly. Dollars only.

Host: I like that. So, moving on—how do you feel about being called "Babe"? Is that okay?

Guest: Babe? Are you not seeing the masterpiece sitting in front of you? It's fine, though.

Host: Before we start, what are your pronouns?

Guest: She/Her, please.

Host: You were sent on a six-month "excursion" to Kirikiri Correctional Center for abusing the Nigerian currency. Was it like three months for Babushe and three months for Idris?

Guest: [laughs] Like you said, it was an excursion, or as I see it, a vacation—a much-needed break. The intention might have been to break me, but I came out just fine, if not better. Nothing happened to me, and I’m still strong and good.

Host: You actually came out looking fine, chubby even. Does that mean prison suited you?

Guest: [laughs] Maybe it did! I wouldn’t mind going back, but just for a short stay.

Host: You mean you’d want to go back?

Guest: Not really. It's not like I want to go back, but it’s funny how they tried to break me for something as trivial as spraying my own hard-earned money. It was like a scene from a movie. I didn’t steal, I didn’t kidnap, I didn’t harm anyone—I just sprayed money. But they still sent me to prison, a place full of real criminals.

Host: So, did you get any special treatment while you were there?

Guest: [smiles] Let’s just say I was in a different place—no VIP treatment. But Nigerians love to add their twist to things.

Host: Are you still friends with the person who "sponsored" your trip to Kirikiri?

Guest: [laughs] I don’t even know who that is!

Host: A lot of people expected you to come out looking different, maybe with a full beard. How did you keep up with your grooming?

Guest: People assume a lot. I’ve had laser treatment, so nothing grows on my face anymore. I don’t have to worry about beards or anything like that.

Host: What about other areas... like your...?

Guest: [laughs] Let's just say I’ve taken care of things. Some questions you can’t ask unless you’re sure, so let's keep it moving.

Host: Can you share your experience during your "vacation" at Kirikiri? How did you manage your mental and emotional wellbeing?

Guest: Well, I always say nothing can break me. I stayed strong, kept my head high, and refused to let anything get to me.

Host: Did you... "soap" during your time there?

Guest: [laughs] No, I didn’t. Some of us can control ourselves, unlike others. I stayed focused.

Host: I heard the judge who sentenced you was a woman. Do you think she was being unfair?

Guest: People say what they want, but I’m not afraid of anyone. The worst has already been done. There’s nothing criminal about being who I am. It's a choice, and everyone should be free to make their own.

Host: You mentioned earlier that you quickly identified as a man during your trial. Why?

Guest: That’s just what people say. But I know who I am, and that’s all that matters.

Host: Did you spend your time in the male or female section of the prison?

Guest: I was in the male section, and I loved it. I was different, and people were nice to me. If I had been in the female section, I wouldn’t have had as much fun.

Host: Why do you dislike being a man so much? Is it the responsibility of paying bills?

Guest: [laughs] All genders are great, but I chose where I want to be. And I’m paying my bills just fine, thank you very much.

Host: Have you ever been pregnant?

Guest: That’s a ridiculous question. No, I haven’t, and I don’t plan to be.

Host: Earlier this year, if someone had told you that you would win a six-month trip to Kirikiri, would you have believed them?

Guest: No, I wouldn’t have. I didn’t think I was doing anything wrong. But I’m glad it happened. It was an experience.

Host: How do you feel about being back on social media? What should your fans expect?

Guest: I’m excited to be back, and my fans should expect nothing but the best from me. I’m not going back to that "home" anytime soon, though. Let’s keep things moving forward.
