Nigeria Police Force Refute Recent Report Claiming 13 Individual Lost Their Life Due To Protest In Nigeria



Another  Nigerian police force has clarified that Seven Persons were killed during the first and second day of Nationwide protest.


The police in a statement by the police spokesperson Olumuyiwa Adejobi  said it is necessary to dismiss a recent report by Amnesty International claiming that 13 persons died.


The police says four persons were killed in Borno and 34 others were severely injured in a terrorist attack by suspected Boko Haram i swap elements who infiltrated the crowd of protesters and detonated an improvised explosive device.


Additionally an incident occurred involving an unregistered Honda  car that ran into the protesters resulting into the deaths of two civilians.


The  police also reported that an incident in Yauri   local government area of Kebbi where a group of individuals mobilized to loot a shop in the process a local vigilante man shot and killed one of the looters according to the police a total of 618 persons were arrested in seven states and the
FCT.
