Confirmation of the story broken this afternoon by David ornstein and it is news concerning Chelsea's former Manchester City player days before the season opens here at Stanford Bridge against Manchester City and that is Cole Palmer has extended his contract by a further two years.

He was already tied down to a long-term deal until 2031 this one takes him through until 2033 and essentially these kind of things happen in Chelsea System anyway we know there have been long-term contracts but certainly they believe in rewarding players who have made their Mark and that essentially is what Cole Palmer did last season didn't they when you think of only Erling Haaland scored more League goals only Ollie Watkins had more Premier League assists in total Palmer's numbers were eye-catching, 29 goals in all competitions including his International goals for England.
