Police Arrest Seven-Man Kidnap Gang Terrorising Ijebu Igbo Ogun State
The police have arrested seven suspects in connection with alleged case of conspiracy kidnapping murder and armed robbery in Ijebu Igbo Ogun State.
It was a success story for officers of the State Police command as they have captured all the suspects involved in the alleged case of conspiracy, kidnapping, murder, attempted murder and armed robbery at Ijebu Igbo area of Ogun state.
The commissioner of police Abiodun Alamutu had on 29th of July 2024 paraded two suspects who reportedly confessed to participate in in various crimes the state.
The suspect also led the police commissioner to the forest where they buried their victims and informed the police that other members of the gang were on run, but now the elected Police Commissioner confirmed that all the suspects have been arrested and the police have the record of their operations and their victims .
The commissioner also commended his men for their dedication and professional way of handling cases, adding that the command will not leave any stone unturn in ensuring reduction of crimes in the state, He said suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.
The commissioner also appealed to Residents to continue to support the police with useful information stating that the Ogun State Police command is ready to Slug It Out with criminals who are not ready to change from their evil ways.
