Abuja where the minister of the federal capital territory wike has announced that the park and pay policy in Abuja is no longer recognized as a legitimate

In a recent announcement, the minister of the federal capital territory,  Wike, declared that the park and pay policy in Abuja is no longer considered a legitimate operation. The minister made this statement during a live media chat with journalists, where he also discussed his achievements over the past year. The minister highlighted that there will be a review of his performance in critical sectors such as transportation, infrastructure, housing, environmental security, education, health, and economic development. He emphasized the challenges faced by the FCT administration in propelling the nation's capital towards prosperity.

Additionally, the minister addressed the crisis within the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and stated that it has not affected his performance in office. He remarked that there is no room for reconciliation without integrity. Despite calls for sanctions from some PDP members due to alleged anti-party activities, the minister expressed his focus on work rather than engaging in political disputes. Minister Wik also mentioned that all the six area councils will now undergo comprehensive development efforts.
