Nigeria Defence Headquarters (DHQ)

The Nigerian Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has address the Nation what this 2024 Protest in Nigeria can cause or may lead below is the Statement from the (DHQ)

The Nigerian Defence Headquarters (DHQ) Said This situation I will say that for us in the military the Constitution is clear as to how and when the military get involved and our responsibility to the nation on the other hand I will further say that while citizens have a right to peaceful protest only, and they do not have a right to mobilize for Anarchy and unleash ter, it is easy to see that the Contemporary context of the plan protest is to Shadow the happenings in Kenya which I must say is violent and have add that it remains unresolved.

Already we have detected some unscrupulous elements bent on hijacking the plan protest with the aim of making it violent many are therefore following in ignorance for instance there are indications that if you possess a smartphone, if you possess a car, if you possess a shop, if you own a house, or even use air condition in your house, you have been labeled a Target other targets that have been labeled including places of worship, businesses, markets, ethnic groups, and members of other political parties, among other items and areas targeted Accordingly.

The level of violence being envisaged can only be described as a state of Anarchy the Armed Forces on his part will not stand by and allow Anarchy to befall our nation this is because we have seen Wars and have witnessed Anarchy

Daniel Dan @Dan044Daniel Said! Lol 😂😂 i don laf tire

David Eboh @DavidEboh5 Said!  The army don’t have the authority at this level to be making announcements about civil protests. It’s usurpation of police power and duty.

Nigeria is not a military state, so soldiers should confine themselves to the areas of fighting terrorism, protecting farmers so that they are secured in their farms to grow food for the nation. The bane of the protest is hunger, and it’s insensitive for the govt to allow the army to be issuing warning as if #EndSARS humiliating carnage against unarmed civilian youths, the denial and disgraceful acceptance of shooting and killing protesters is not enough.

Police should provide security and the state should stop acting rogue. Tinibu and members of APC organised and led protests against Goodluck Jonathan, and no one was short at or maimed or killed. Enough is enough.

The protest can be avoided if there is food for the families.

The country cannot  continue like this. Protest is a human right. The army or police must not  trigger an atomic bomb. The pressure and tension are too high. Threat of kinetic force (gun, bullets and bomb) is a catalyst, a potential adrenaline pump, a push factor.

@realness000 Said!  What if intelligence gathered confirmed those behind the protest have ulterior motives and are equipped with destructive weapons? Do you mean it's the police that still handle that?

@StoneKwesi Said! St Augustine said, "An unjust law is no law at all.' Which means I have a right, even a duty to resist. With violence or civil disobedience. You should pray I choose the latter. I'm a Nigerian

@kultureklansman Also Contributed to the Video saying Guy, na english you still dey talk. The Nigerian Army has spoken. Cause any problem under the guise of protesting, and it will be to your own detriment. A word is enough for d wise
