The Lagos Drug Baron, Temo, has been apprehended by the NDLEA.

 

NDLEA Arrests Most Wanted Lagos Drug Baron, Temo

Operatives of the National Drug Law enforcement agency have arrested the head of a drug cartel operating in the Mushin area of Lagos. 

The 57-year-old drug baron was arrested in his enclave after an initial resistance from him and his gang.

 A statement by spokesman of the NDLEA Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA intercepted large consignments of illicit drugs worth billions of naira owned by the suspect in the last two years. 

Some of the recent seizures of his shipments include, a large consignment of Ghana loud, a strong strain of cannabis sativa, smuggled into Lagos from ghana in two trucks and a bus intercepted at the Ojuelegba area of the state. 

The team also intercepted two truck-loads of the same substance weighing more than 8,000kg at eleko beach In May 2023 and 252kg of loud seized from his enclave in Mushin.
