Governor of kano State Abba Yusuf  has signed the kano  state Emirate Council establishment Bill 2024 into law.

The bill which was passed by the Kano assembly created three new second class Emirates of Rano,  Gaya,  and Karaye.

The governor gave the assent when speaker of the kano State House Assembly presented the bill to him at the council chambers .

 Governor Abba Yusuf   shortly after the assent restated  the commitment of his Administration to support the traditional institution .

on his part the Speaker of House Assembly expressed delight of the development stated that the Emirates will not only improve the state's economy but bring the people closer to the government.
