Etimology of Intelligence

The pathway of divine intelligence

 

The word 'intelligence' derives from the Latin nouns intelligentia or intellēctus , which in turn stem from the verb intelligere, to comprehend or to understand or to perceive.

 In the Middle Ages, the word intellectus became the scholarly technical term for understanding and a translation for the Greek philosophical term nous.

  The word 'nous' connotes: "Common sense; practical intelligence."

 Nous is translated "understanding" in 1Corinthians 14:12-19 and Revelation 13:18.

Nous is translated "mind" in Romans 7:23,25, Romans 12:2, Romans 14:5, 1Corinthians 1:10, Ephesians 4:17-18,23, Titus 1:15, 1Timothy 6:5, 2Timothy 3:8, Revelation 17:9.

1Corinthians 2:16 says we, who have received the Spirit of God, have the intelligence of Christ. That's amazing!

God has prepared a special throne for you on earth but you cannot collect it without divine revelation and you cannot receive divine revelation without loving The Lord or waiting on The Lord (Compare 1Corinthians 2:9 and Isaiah 64:4). That's it; you tap into supernatural intelligence by WAITING ON THE LORD. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
