University of Abuja Lecturer Warns Against Negative Impact Of Planned Protest On Economy
A financial management expert and lecturer of banking and finance at the University of Abuja(UNIABUJA),Dr Adelodun Sadraq has warned against the implications of the protest on Nigeria's fragile economy.
Dr Sadraq stated this in Abuja during an interview with journalist while reacting to the proposed protest over hardship in the country.
According to the financial experts no strike in Nigeria's history has ever any beneficial Financial benefit on the country's economic development.
He says the plan protest for 10 days will be counterproductive adding that the inability of any business class to operate or function in a day will hamper the survival of such businesses.
Dr Sadraq Further said that Nigerians have the right to express their displeasure against perceived suffering resulting from years of misrule but urge Nigerians to suspend the planed protest to give the new Administration time to execute its agenda.
