Nigerian Workers Jubilate As FG, Labour Agree On New Minimum Wage.
70,000Naira is the new national minimum wage that will be sent in a bill to the National Assembly for legislation before it becomes law .
This was the outcome of a meeting between President bola Tinubu and leaders of the Nigerian labor Congress and Trade union Congress inside the presidential Villa.
Beyond the wage increase president Bola Tinubu made some concessions on behalf of the federal government.
He directed that all contentious issues with the non-academic staff Union of universities and the senior staff Association of Nigerian universities be resolved.
The federal government will also expedite measures to reduce the impact of economic reforms on citizens.
