Nigeria news: Evacuation of Sacked Emir of Kano's Properties from Palace Commences

 The belongings of the dethroned Emir of Kano, HRH Aminu Ado Bayero, are reportedly being evacuated from the palace. 

This development was triggered by the reinstatement of Muhammad Sanusi II as the Emir of Kano by the State Governor, Abba Yusuf.

According to NTA, vehicles have been spotted on the palace premises to transport the monarch's properties. 

The state House of Assembly recently passed a bill to dissolve the four additional emirates created by the former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje's administration and remove all five emirs. 

Governor Abba Yusuf signed the law and directed the sacked monarchs to vacate their official residences and palaces within two days.
