On this day, I am delighted to celebrate a great Nigerian; the Sultan of Sokoto and President of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), His Eminence Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, on the occasion of his 66th birthday. 

Leadership in Nigeria with many diverse cultures, religions and interests remains challenging. But as a man who embodies humility and wisdom, he stands as a bridge builder and uses his exalted position to pursue peace, progress and development of the nation.
